Coverham

“Coverham, a scattered hamlet situated in the township of Agglethorpe, which contains 188 souls and 1,090 acres of land, James Ewbank Esq is lord of the manor of Agglethorpe but Coverham is owned by the Lister family.” William White’s History, Gazetteer and Directory of the East and North Ridings of Yorkshire, 1840.
